From 1990 to 2010 Jan Ketil Moberg has various positions in ConocoPhillips, e.g Technical Authority for Lifting Equipment. Before that he has worked within drilling and maritime operations.
Jan Ketil is educated Mechanical Engineer within marine systems and maintenance and have a Master within Risk and Safety Management.

Worked 30 years in DNV including many years as Head of Section, Team Leader, Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager. Been part of the conference committee for more than 10 years.

Mr. Maro Hartmann

Mr Maro Hartmann is Principal Specialist for Lifting Appliances in the Technical Directorate at Lloyd’s Register EMEA (LR) since 1 January 2024. Maro joined LR on 1 October 1997 and is working with and around lifting appliances since the end of 1998. He is a member of CEN/TC 147 WG15 and is chairing the project for a complete revision of EN 13852-2 Floating cranes and also chairing the German national committee mirroring WG15. Further he was part of the German delegation to IMO for some years at which he was tasked to take part in the development of SOLAS Chapter II-1, Regulation 3-13 for Lifting Appliances on Ships for Germany.
Maro studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and holds the degree of a Dipl.-Ing since 1991.
